The ideal candidate will play a critical role in cost control, quality assurance, and medical decision-making within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:Assess medical reports for day-care and in-patient cases, ensuring treatment plans are medically justified and aligned with best practices.Review the course of treatment and escalate questionable or unclear cases to the Medical Director for further validation.Support coordinators and supervisors in evaluating medical cases and rejecting medically unjustified procedures or treatments.Monitor case-related medical expenses against expected cost benchmarks and identify potential cases of medical fraud or overutilization.Conduct medical discussions with healthcare providers regarding ongoing cases and document medical findings, including preparing medical reports when required.Provide 24/7 medical support and guidance to coordinators regarding in-patient cases and claims.Assist company management with medical-related inquiries from clients and participate in client meetings when needed.
