In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant work environment by implementing and enforcing health, safety, and security protocols. You will play a critical role in protecting our organization's assets, personnel, and operations while ensuring adherence to local and international HSE standards.Conduct regular security patrols and surveillance of company premises, including buildings, parking areas, and restricted zonesMonitor and manage access control systems, CCTV cameras, and alarm systems to ensure facility securityIdentify, assess, and document potential health, safety, and security hazards throughout the workplaceInvestigate security incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actionsEnforce compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and Qatar labor law requirementsRespond promptly to security breaches, emergencies, and safety incidents; coordinate with emergency services when necessaryConduct safety inspections and audits to verify adherence to established protocolsMaintain accurate and organized records of security incidents, inspections, and maintenance activitiesProvide security briefings and HSE training to employees on relevant policies and proceduresCollaborate with management and other departments to develop and improve safety and security initiativesEnsure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) across the organizationMonitor visitor access and maintain visitor logs in compliance with security proceduresQualificationsProven experience as a Security Officer, HSE Officer, or similar role in a corporate or industrial environmentStrong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practicesFamiliarity with Qatar labor laws and local HSE compliance requirementsProficiency in security systems, access control, and CCTV monitoringExcellent analytical and risk assessment skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesExceptional organizational and record-keeping skillsAbility to remain calm and make decisive decisions in emergency situationsPhysical fitness and ability to perform regular patrols and inspectionsProficiency in incident investigation and root cause analysisKnowledge of emergency response procedures and protocolsPreferred: First aid/CPR certification or equivalentPreferred: Previous experience with security clearance processesPreferred: Leadership or supervisory experience in security or safety rolesPreferred: Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
