Requirements
MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree. UK CCT in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery or Plastic Surgery, with relevant Hand Surgery fellowship/training. Relevant post-CCT experience in Hand & Upper Limb Surgery. FRCS or equivalent specialist qualification preferred. Current GMC/specialist registration or equivalent professional registration. Eligible for UAE Consultant/Specialist classification, subject to the applicable PQR and final authority assessment. Strong clinical, surgical, and communication skills.

Position OverviewA leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Hand Surgeon with UK CCT to join its specialist surgical team. UK-trained Consultant Hand Surgeons are actively practicing in UAE healthcare facilities, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage complex hand, wrist, and upper-limb conditions. Perform elective and emergency hand and wrist procedures. Manage hand trauma, tendon and nerve injuries, fractures, and soft-tissue conditions. Perform appropriate reconstructive and microsurgical procedures. Provide pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up. Work closely with orthopedic, plastic surgery, rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary teams. Participate in clinical audits, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives
