Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Design, CAD/Design Technology or a related discipline. Specialist training/certification in AVEVA E3D / PDMS is preferred. Typically 15+ years of relevant experience in oil & gas engineering/design, with significant experience in AVEVA E3D/PDMS. Previous experience working on offshore oil & gas projects is strongly preferred. Experience with major EPC/EPCM/PMC projects and large multidisciplinary 3D models. Previous experience supporting ADNOC or other UAE/GCC oil & gas projects is highly desirable. Strong experience in model reviews, clash detection, interdisciplinary coordination and constructability reviews. Experience reviewing contractor/EPC 3D models in a PMC environment is preferred. Advanced proficiency in AVEVA E3D / PDMS. Strong understanding of 3D plant design and modelling principles. Good knowledge of piping, equipment, structural and multidisciplinary interfaces. Understanding of P&IDs, equipment layouts, piping specifications and engineering drawings. Knowledge of offshore facilities, topsides, modules, platforms and associated facilities. Familiarity with model review and clash detection processes. Good understanding of engineering change management and model revision control. Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards and ADNOC project requirements. Strong technical and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to identify design and constructability issues proactively. Strong coordination and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary PMC team.
