DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides patient-centered nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse within the Pre-Anesthesia Clinic.
- Assists with assessing, intervening, and evaluating patient health and functional status.
- Supports patients with activities of daily living to promote independence.
- Monitors and reports changes in the health and functional status of patients to the Registered Nurse.
- Maintains ongoing communication with the healthcare team regarding patient care.
- Provides relevant healthcare information and support to patients and their families.
- Practices within the legal and ethical framework established by the American Hospital Dubai and Dubai Health Authority.
- Maintains accountability for personal nursing actions and decisions.
- Participates in the development and maintenance of a safe and effective practice environment.
- Engages in ongoing professional development and education.
