Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Requires 3+ years of experience in AVEVA PI system and PI site implementation. Must have experience in Windows Server setup, Networking, IT structure, and installing/maintaining/troubleshooting/upgrading hardware and software. AVEVA PI certification is mandatory. A driver's license is required for client site visits.

A reputable industrial software and engineering company in the oil and gas sector is looking to hire a Full-Time Technical Solution Consultant.Job requirements:· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.· 3+ years of experience in AVEVA PI system is required· PI site implementation experience is required· Experience of Windows Server setup, Networking and understanding of IT structure· Experience in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading the hardware and software components on different network levels· AVEVA PI certification is required· Holds a transferable residency in GCC is a plus· Preferably currently living in Abu Dhabi, UAE is a plus· Ability to drive on a regular basis to client sites within UAE· Driver license is required· Client interface as needed for any of the following: software implementation or upgrade, problem resolution, enhancements, specialized reporting, training, etc. SkillsSound knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2014+) and Windows Server (2012+).Strong Knowledge on PI System Core, Asset Framework (AF), Visualization, Data Integration, Scripting & Development, IT & Infrastructure, Cloud & Modern Architecture, Domain KnowledgeExcellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Ability to work independently and in team environments with minimal supervision.Strong presentation and training delivery skills.Willingness to travel to customer sites and manage client-facing responsibilities.High commitment to quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new software technologies.
