Role overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals, endoscopy teams, and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients with a broad range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.
Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures according to expertise and facility capabilities.
Diagnose and manage conditions including inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, reflux disorders, liver disease, and other digestive health conditions.
Develop individualised treatment plans and provide appropriate follow-up and long-term disease management.
Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, nutritionists, and other multidisciplinary teams when required.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and maintain accurate clinical documentation and infection control standards.
