Job description / Role Job Type Full Time Job Location UAE Nationality Any Nationality Salary Not Specified Gender Not Specified Arabic Fluency Not Specified Job Function Customer Service Company Industry Oil & Gas / Energy Job purpose To load the petroleum products in heavy duty road tankers from ADNOC Distribution Terminal and drive to various customers, filling station/depot locations for the delivery. To ensure that vehicle is in good operating condition for delivery of products. To comply with all safety precautions and standards. To attend loading/offloading in the designated facilities. Job specific accountabilities Receive FAN (Filling Advise Notice) from the Distribution Supervisors, check and drive the vehicles to designated loading bay and load the product as per the FAN details and according to the laid down procedures. Inspect the vehicle before loading to ensure that routine maintenance checks have been carried out by workshop personnel and inform any defects to Distribution Supervisor. Check availability of hoses and couplings in the vehicle. Ensure that product compartment of the vehicle is empty before loading any products. Ensure that fuel tanks are full before proceeding on trips and seal the vehicle properly in the supervision of Supply Operators before proceeding to deliver product. Load the petroleum products in heavy duty road tankers from ADNOC Distribution Terminal and drive to various customer or filling station/depot locations for the delivery and back, according to dispatch schedules and work shifts. Ensure that loading arms are properly handled and parked back after completion of loading. Ensure safe speed limit is maintained while driving and UAE traffic rules and regulations are followed. Inform ADNOC Emergency Response system in the event of accident or breakdown. During emergency in the depot follow emergency response procedure. Report the supervisor about the customer site condition, approach road and storage facilities. If difficulties are encountered at the customer site, report for re-inspection and necessary action. After loading is finished, collect Product Delivery Note/Product Transfer Notes from depot gate. Handover Product Delivery Note/Product Transfer Notes to customers/filling stations representative for their signature and return them to Dispatch Assistant or Dispatch Supervisors after delivery of products. Job specific accountabilities continued Connect and disconnect hoses to the road tanker at customer/filling station/depot sites. Ensure that the person in charge for off-loading and receiving the product at customer site or filling station is present and ready to receive the product. Inspect vehicle prior to usage and ensure that vehicle is in suitable working condition and fit for delivery of product. Ensure that hoses, couplings, dipsticks and fire extinguisher are on vehicle. Check oil, tires, lights, cleanliness (particularly windshields) prior to leaving depot. Report any abnormal noises, defects or vibrations to supervisor. Ensure the availability of valid vehicle registration card, road permits and required security passes before leaving to the assigned destination. Take vehicle to outsourced garages as directed to be cleaned, serviced and repaired. Attend vehicle in the event of an accident or breakdown, until the arrival of Emergency Response Team, Civil Defence and Workshop crew. Engage in the recovery operation of contaminated product at the service station/customer sites under the supervision of Distribution Supervisor or Dispatch Assistant. Engage in the delivery of special products such as Jet A1 and multi products (in drums) to the VIP customers and biodiesel etc. Comply with all safety rules and regulations and adhere to fasten seat belt, maintain speed limits and follow fatigue and distraction events in line with ADNOC Life Saving rules including the use of PPE. Maintain and keep the work environment in a clean and tidy condition including removal of wastes and spillages. Provide outstanding customer service and strive to provide a high level of service to all customers at all times to ensure customer loyalty. Perform other similar or related duties when assigned by Distribution Team Leader or direct supervisor. Health, safety and environment (HSE) Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures and controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices. Perform the job safely in line with HSE procedures. Ensure full compliance to PPE and other safety regulations. Report all incidents and near misses immediately to the supervisor. Follow company emergency procedures and participate in emergency drills accordingly. Participate in safety talks and meetings. Participate in HSE campaigns, training courses, awareness sessions and initiatives deployment to ensure meeting the objectives. HSE - fire-fighting operations Carry out regular and surprise rounds of critical areas of operation as well as facilities to ensure that fire equipment is in workable condition at all times and stop or report unsafe precedents. Inspect, clean and test fire-fighting apparatus, tools and equipment, including hose and hose fittings, hydrants, ladders and hand extinguishers to ensure all firefighting equipment is in good condition and ready to be used when required. Respond to fire or accident alarms from the plant's control rooms, determine the approach to fire’s location, make the necessary hose connections to fixed fire hydrants, and start firefighting using appropriate fighting tools according to the source of fire. Participate in taking emergency actions dictated by the situation to ensure quick and immediate response to the emergency. Monitor screens and alarm systems in firefighting control room and communicate emergencies as per ADNOC Distribution’s procedure. Minimum qualification Primary school education Minimum experience, knowledge and skills 3-5 years’ experience in driving heavy duty vehicles and transporting inflammable petroleum products. Knowledge of English and Arabic languages (spoken and written). UAE driver’s license. Familiarity with the basics of customer service.
