Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil or architecture engineering. 5+ years’ experience in civil tender procurement engineering Experience of dealing with complex tenders. Experience of contract negotiation in commercial environment. Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD and Word Demonstrated experience in developing presentations, spreadsheets, and other supporting documents. Excellent organizational and analytical.
Description
Responsible for Technical / Engineering delivery of proposals / Tenders for all assigned Tenders Thoroughly review Tender Documents which includes Design Documents, Drawings, Specifications, Data Sheets, Calculations etc. and Clearly define the scope of Project Prepare Technical submittals as per Bid / Tender requirements which includes (but not limited to) methods, plans, organization, ----&implementation strategies, specialized method statements and commissioning plants etc. Prepare / raise pre-tender queries etc and coordinate with stalk holders department for clarification Development alternative technical proposals as and where required Involve in all post tender activities till contract award including (but no limited to ) attendance on meeting with clients /consultants, clarification of post tender queries, techno commercial negotiation etc. Ensure that tenders meet company commercial guidelines and have the necessary sign off in accordance with the delegation of authority guidelines. Take responsibility for all associated handover documentation in the event of an order. Participate in and actively support company initiatives. Be familiar with the general specifications and market requirements. Analyse all suppliers to select the most suitable suppliers who can deliver high-quality products at competitive pricing. Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies to meet cost savings targets. Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy. Create performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements. Ensure commercial, legal, and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions. Coordinate with vendor on continuous quality improvement.
