JOB DESCRIPTIONObjective:This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of HVAC systems across Apparel Group's commercial and retail properties. The HVAC Technician ensures optimal performance, energy efficiency, and safety of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in line with regulatory and operational standards.Key Responsibility:Install new Decorative split Units/Window AC.Maintenance of Direct Expansion (DX) systems, Fresh Air Handling Units (FAHU), Air Handling Units (AHU), and Fan Coil Units (FCU) in compliance with technical and safety standards.Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety.Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity.Conduct performance tests with specialized tools.Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues.Repair damaged HVAC systems.Sell ongoing maintenance contracts to current customers.Keep records of customer appointments and payment transactions including invoices.Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment and HVAC resources.Desired Experience:3-5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation and servicing.Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems including split units, VRF systems, air handlers, and ventilation equipment.Ability to read technical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.Familiarity with electrical and plumbing systems as related to HVAC.
