Engineering Manager - Defence Engineering | KATIM Key Responsibilities Lead multidisciplinary engineering workstreams across complex defence programmes. Drive delivery against technical, schedule, cost, quality, and integration objectives. Plan resources, milestones, dependencies, risks, and engineering priorities. Coordinate Systems, Software, Hardware, Integration, Test, Cybersecurity, and Network teams. Act as the technical focal point for stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and programme leadership. Support technical decisions, risk mitigation, change control, and engineering governance. Experience & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in Defence, Aerospace, Communications, or mission-critical technology. Proven experience leading engineering development activities and multidisciplinary teams. Strong understanding of engineering lifecycles, systems integration, verification, and programme delivery. Experience working in regulated or defence environments. Key Skills Defence Communications, C2/C4ISR, Tactical Communications, Defence Networking, or Secure Communications. Engineering & Programme Management. Systems Integration, Technical Risk & Delivery Management. Stakeholder and Supplier Management. Familiarity with MS Project, JIRA, DOORS/JAMA, Confluence, and EVM.
