Job description
Act as a trusted adviser to the Principal on investment strategy, market positioning and portfolio construction.
Execute investments across public equities, fixed income, money markets, private markets and treasury products.
Manage liquidity, cash allocations and short-term investment portfolios.
Conduct detailed market, macroeconomic and asset-class analysis.
Monitor portfolio performance, risks and exposures across GCC and international markets.
Prepare investment recommendations, memos and performance reporting for the Principal.
Liaise directly with private banks, asset managers, custodians and other counterparties.
Support the establishment of investment processes, controls and reporting frameworks.
The successful applicant
The individual reporting to the Managing Director should have the following:
7-15 years' experience in investment management, private banking, family office or asset management.
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or a related discipline; professional qualifications such as CFA are advantageous.
Proven experience advising senior stakeholders or principals and executing investments directly.
Strong knowledge of public markets, money markets and treasury instruments.
Experience across GCC markets with international investment exposure.
Comfortable operating as a hands-on individual contributor in a lean, evolving environment.
Strong analytical capability, sound judgement and high levels of discretion.
