The role requires hands-on technical expertise in mechanical systems, electrical controls, sensors, and conveyor motor operations. The technician ensures that conveyor belts and automated material handling systems are running smoothly, with minimal downtime, to support operational efficiency. This includes conducting routine inspections, diagnosing mechanical or electrical faults, replacing worn components, adjusting alignment, and ensuring that safety and compliance standards are maintained at all times. The Conveyor Technician also documents maintenance records, reports recurring problems, and assists in improvement initiatives related to machinery uptime. In coordination with the engineering or maintenance team, this role supports the continuous operation of distribution centers and warehouse environments.
