About the role
A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its cardiology and cardiovascular services and is seeking a highly skilled consultant cardiologist to join its growing clinical team. The role is suitable for internationally trained cardiologists seeking career advancement, strong clinical exposure, and the opportunity to practice within a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment serving a diverse international patient population.
Role overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and cardiac care infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Assess, diagnose and manage patients with a wide range of cardiovascular and cardiac conditions.
Provide consultant-level care for coronary artery disease, hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease and other cardiovascular disorders.
Perform and interpret cardiac investigations including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, Holter monitoring and other relevant diagnostic tests.
Develop personalised treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
Manage patients with chest pain, acute coronary syndromes and other cardiac emergencies in coordination with emergency and critical care teams.
Provide preventive cardiology, cardiovascular risk assessment and lifestyle counselling.
Coordinate care with cardiac surgery, interventional cardiology, vascular surgery, radiology and other relevant specialties.
Provide appropriate follow-up and long-term management for patients with cardiovascular disease.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with patient safety and UAE healthcare standards.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance, quality improvement, audit and patient safety initiatives.
