Requirements
Diploma in Network Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Networks. 1-2 years of experience in network operations and/or data center environments. Hands-on experience with network equipment, cabling, patching, and rack installation. Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP. Basic troubleshooting skills using tools such as Ping and Traceroute. Good communication and teamwork skills. CCNA certification is preferred.
Description
Job Purpose:Support daily network operations, troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including data center environments.Key Responsibilities:Support and troubleshoot LAN/WAN network connectivity.Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting of switches, routers, VLANs, and network devices.Install and replace network equipment in data centers and network rooms.Perform network patching, fiber/copper cabling, labeling, and cable management.Support network changes, maintenance activities, and equipment relocation/decommissioning.Monitor network alerts and resolve technical issues within agreed SLAs.Maintain network documentation, equipment records, and change information.Follow data center safety, access, security, and change management procedures.Coordinate with senior engineers, vendors, and other IT teams when required.Requirements:Diploma in Network Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Networks, or a related field.1–2 years of relevant experience in network operations and/or data center environments.Hands-on experience with network equipment, cabling, patching, and rack installation.Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP.Basic troubleshooting skills using tools such as Ping and Traceroute.Good communication and teamwork skills.CCNA certification is preferred.Ability to work in data center environments and participate in planned maintenance activities when required.
