We maintain and optimize technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse and Delivery Network.We are looking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join our team as a Facilities Coordinator in our Reliability, Maintenance and Engineering team. The focus of this role is to ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to, to ensure preventative maintenance is conducted on time to a high standard, and to provide high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.Key job responsibilitiesThe Reliability Maintenance Engineering coordinator will role model health and safety best practices and monitor those around them to ensure they follow the example they set. You will work in a hands-on manner and demonstrate Subject Matter Expert levels of knowledge on all Material Handling Equipment in the building. You will coach and mentor the technicians on shift while supporting the line manager and supervising the shift in their absence. You will provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers by means of troubleshooting and prioritizing issues effectively. You will support continuous improvement of systems in a standard manner across the network and develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels in the organization. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness and equipment performance metrics. You will also be responsible for the management of contractors working within the facility.
