High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience. At least 2-3 years in a supervisory role within airfield maintenance. Strong theoretical and practical knowledge and experience of airfield pavement equipment. Familiarity with local statutory requirements and Code of Practice regulations. Formal training or certification in equipment operation or maintenance is preferred. Experience working in a multi-airport environment, exposure to emergency response planning and adverse weather operations are preferred. Ability to supervise in-house equipment operators and outsourced vendors, schedule personnel, manage daily operations, and prepare reports. Competence in reading and understanding specifications, operation manuals, and preventive maintenance checklists. Strong spoken and written communication skills in English. Awareness of airport operational constraints and safety requirements. Attention to detail during routine inspections. Familiarity with statutory regulations and compliance standards. Demonstrated leadership with a customer-focused approach. Responsible and proactive attitude toward work. Familiarity with regulations and requirements of airside facilities, knowledge of ICAO regulations and airfield maintenance standards, and understanding of airfield safety protocols are preferred. About the role: Responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance and personnel involved in rubber removal and surface cleaning activities across runways, taxiways and aprons at both Hamad International Airport and Doha International Airport.
