Air Q Limited is looking for an experienced Production Planner to join our Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT)team in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, UAE.The Production Planner will play a key role in maintaining production planning accuracy, ensuring effective Job Order management, and supporting smooth coordination between planning, material availability, assembly, and testing activities.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, manage, monitor, and close Job Orders (JOs) across assembly and testing activities.Track material and labor consumption against each Job Order and ensure accurate records.Maintain the production schedule and proactively identify and flag potential delays or schedule slippage.Coordinate closely with Material Planning to ensure material availability is aligned with the JO schedule.Monitor Job Order progress and ensure timely closure.Support accurate end-to-end Job Order lifecycle tracking.Work closely with Assembly, Integration, Testing, Material Planning, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.Support the transition from manual production tracking to a more structured and digitized planning process.Maintain production planning data and ensure information is accurate and up to date.Identify planning issues and coordinate with relevant teams to support timely resolution.Contribute to maintaining production schedule adherence and improving planning efficiency.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in production planning or a similar scheduling/planning role within a manufacturing environment.Hands-on experience with ERP/MES systems for work order execution, tracking, and closure is required.Experience with production scheduling and end-to-end Job Order management.Strong understanding of manufacturing planning processes and production workflow.Key CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to take ownership of end-to-end production tracking.Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.Ability to identify risks and potential production delays proactively.Clear communication and effective cross-functional coordination.Strong process discipline and follow-through.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment.Performance FocusThe Role Will Contribute Directly ToProduction schedule adherence.Timely Job Order closure.Accurate material and consumption tracking.Improved production planning visibility and control.Location: Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, UAEDepartment: Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT)Reports to: VP of Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT)Employment Type: Full-time
