Medical Degree (MD/MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized and accredited medical school.American Board Certification in Pediatrics and/or Pediatric Emergency Medicine from the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP), or an equivalent recognized American Board certification relevant to the position.Completion of an accredited residency/fellowship training program in Pediatrics and/or Pediatric Emergency Medicine.Board certification in the relevant specialty is required.Minimum 5 years of post-specialty/consultant-level clinical experience, preferably in a tertiary-care or teaching hospital.Demonstrated expertise in pediatric emergency care, resuscitation, and management of critically ill children.Current certification in relevant life-support programs such as PALS and BLS.Strong leadership, communication, clinical decision-making, and interpersonal skills.Experience in clinical teaching, supervision, and mentoring is highly desirable.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and high-acuity emergency environment.Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.Candidates must meet the applicable licensing and credentialing requirements of the relevant government healthcare authority.

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Senior Consultant – Pediatric Emergency Medicine to join a leading Government Healthcare Facility. The successful candidate will provide expert clinical care to pediatric patients presenting with acute and emergency medical conditions, while contributing to clinical leadership, quality improvement, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.The Senior Consultant will be responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered emergency care to infants, children, and adolescents, including the assessment and management of critically ill and trauma patients.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide senior-level clinical assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and management of pediatric emergency cases.Lead the management of critically ill and unstable pediatric patients, including resuscitation and emergency procedures.Ensure high standards of patient safety, quality of care, and clinical governance.Work collaboratively with emergency medicine, pediatric, surgical, anesthesia, intensive care, and other multidisciplinary teams.Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.Participate in departmental teaching, training, and continuing medical education.Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice.Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with institutional policies.Participate in clinical meetings, committees, and other departmental activities as required.Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, professional standards, and hospital policies.
