ObjectiveThe role holder is responsible to play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the ASMO site by overseeing facility maintenance and administrative functions. The role holder manages a team of Facility & Maintenance Technicians and a Facility Admin Controller, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.General Responsibilities Contribute to the development and execution of the Department short to mid-term strategic plan to ensure alignment with the Department's strategic priorities, and the corporate goals. Contribute to the development of annual business plans for the assigned areas of responsibility to support the achievement of financial and strategic objectives. Monitor, control and report key performance indicators related to the Department to track performance and recommend corrective actions. Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including building infrastructure, equipment, and utilities, to ensure safe and reliable operation. Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs to maximize facility uptime and minimize disruptions. Collaborate with Facility & Maintenance Technicians to schedule and perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks. Manage external vendors and contractors for specialized facility maintenance services when necessary. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards for the facility. Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Facility & Maintenance Technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations. Schedule and assign tasks, manage work orders, and oversee work progress to meet operational needs. Conduct performance evaluations, offer training opportunities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the maintenance team. Collaborate with the Facility Admin Controller to manage administrative functions related to facility operations, including budgeting, procurement, and record-keeping. Oversee inventory management for maintenance supplies and equipment, optimizing resource utilization and controlling costs. Ensure the timely and accurate documentation of maintenance activities and expenditures. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality control, to ensure seamless facility operations. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the facility. Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to facility maintenance and administrative functions to the Site Director.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, from a recognized and accredited university or relevant work experience is required. Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is preferred. Certifications in facility management or maintenance management (i.e., CFM, CMRP) is preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English. 9 years experience in similar or related field, out of which 3 years at a managerial / leading position. Proven experience in facility maintenance and management.Deadline: 30 days from posting.
