Requirements

This leadership role involves overseeing the English language department, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and curriculum development, and guiding a team of teachers to achieve academic excellence.Key Responsibilities* Lead and manage the English Department to ensure excellence in teaching and learning.* Develop, implement, and monitor the English curriculum in line with the school’s academic standards.* Support, mentor, and evaluate English teachers through coaching, lesson observations, and performance feedback.* Monitor students’ academic progress and implement strategies to improve learning outcomes.* Ensure high-quality planning, teaching, assessment, and curriculum delivery across all grade levels.* Foster a collaborative, innovative, and positive learning environment within the department.* Coordinate departmental meetings and contribute to whole-school initiatives.* Work closely with the School Leadership Team to achieve the school’s strategic objectives.* Promote continuous professional development and best teaching practices.* Ensure compliance with all school policies, safeguarding requirements, and academic expectations
