MEP Procurement Engineer Responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials, equipment, and subcontract packages in line with project specifications, budget, and timelines. Coordinates with project, design, and site teams to ensure timely delivery, cost optimization, and compliance with technical and contractual requirements.Key Responsibilities:Review MEP drawings, BOQs, and specifications for procurement requirementsSource suppliers and subcontractors, obtain quotations, and conduct technical/commercial evaluationsNegotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedulesPrepare purchase orders and subcontract agreementsEnsure materials comply with project specifications and consultant approvalsTrack deliveries and coordinate with site teams to avoid delaysMaintain procurement logs and vendor databasesSupport cost-saving initiatives and value engineeringMonitor market trends, lead times, and supplier performanceRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering4–8 years of procurement experience in MEP/ConstructionStrong knowledge of MEP materials, suppliers, and local UAE marketFamiliarity with BOQ, contracts, and technical submittalsStrong negotiation and vendor management skills
