Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum, working knowledge of Coiled Tubing Pressure Control Equipment, strong computer skills, and demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficiency in SolidWorks or comparable CAD systems and working knowledge of standard manufacturing processes and practices are also required. A minimum of one year of experience in the design and development of oil and gas service equipment and/or pressure control equipment is preferred.
Description
Responsibilities:
Work under general supervision of the Director of Engineering.
Prepare specifications for purchased components and (sub) systems.
Prepare design proposals for new equipment and modifications to current designs.
Work with drafters, designers and other engineers, as assigned, to lead or participate in team efforts.
Assist production with support in resolving problems arising in the shop during the manufacturing process.
Accomplish all assigned tasks within the constraints of customer requirements, cost effectiveness and Texas Oil Tools design standards.
Prepare engineering design documentation and procedures for engineering processes, equipment operation and performance testing.
Maintain liaison with individuals and units within or outside the organization acting on technical matters pertaining to the field.
Follow all applicable department, company and corporate policies and procedures.
Requirements:
