Description
Position: Operations Executive Compensation: AED25,000 to 28,000 plus statutory benefits & variable Location: Dubai, UAEOverview Gateworth are currently supporting a client who are looking to recruit an Operations Executive, reporting to the Chief of Operations, to ensure that scheduling and day-to-day operations run smoothly across their trading platforms and logistics operators. Main ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with traders, manage cargo movements, create schedules and nominations based on the supply and demand plan. Establish good working relationships with counterparties, alongside internal and external stakeholders. Issue, review and/or trade confirmations, contracts and/or letters of credit. Liaise with inspectors, agents, ship brokers, trade counterparties, storage terminals and internal departments to ensure smooth physical operations meeting statutory regulations and availability of quality certificates and test samples. Invoice customers and oversee the payment of suppliers/service providers.Assist with KYC and counterparty registration. Consolidating tender invitations, sending reminders to respective trading desks and recording all bids, offers and information known.Qualifications & PrerequisitesCrude oil and/or product operations experience is required. Bi-lingual (Chinese and English) language skills, with the ability to correspond with international counterparties and banks. Willing and able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Mature, independent, self-motivated and a team player. A minimum of 3 years of trade operations experience with in the energy sector and/or commodities industry.
