About the Client:
A Dubai - based government entity driving education and innovation initiatives across the region.
Job Description:
- Lead the Finance Section by overseeing financial planning, budgeting, strategic initiatives, and ensuring compliance with Dubai Government financial regulations and organizational objectives.
- Manage the preparation of annual budgets, final accounts, financial statements, payroll budgets, and monthly financial reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Supervise accounting operations, internal controls, audits, financial risk analysis, cost optimization initiatives, and ensure the integrity of financial systems and procedures.
- Lead and develop the finance team, monitor performance, improve financial processes, and coordinate with the Dubai Department of Finance and other stakeholders to support effective financial governance
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Must be an Emirati national with a valid Family Book.
- Previous work experience within a Dubai Government or Semi-Government entity is required.
