With more than a decade of experience and a highly skilled team, we are proud to support organizations across the region with tailored workforce solutions.We are currently hiring a Officer Credit Documentation on behalf of a prestigious client, based in their Dubai office.Job Purpose:The Officer, Credit Documentation is responsible for securities and documentation lodgment, filing, recording, recovery, archival, scanning and maintenance of documents and database systems within Credit Middle Office. The role reviews credit documentation and collaterals, supports Credit Documentation activities, and performs simple and straightforward document checking, including ABL disbursement documentation, while ensuring documents are properly executed, controlled and maintained in line with approved policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.Job Description:Ensure Credit Middle Office policies and procedures are followed in line with the Bank's credit policies and relevant UAE Central Bank and government guidelines.Adhere to UAE laws and regulations relating to collaterals and the legality of documentation, in coordination with the Legal Department where required.Receive original executed facility documentation and collateral documentation from business segments and branches, and update documentation registers with document details and movement records.Electronically scan original documents in EDMS after fit-to-lend sign-off and ensure documents have been properly executed and are in order.Handle safekeeping of original documents under custody and ensure all documents are lodged after digital filing in EDMS.Periodically review borrowing documents held under custody for housekeeping purposes and prepare correspondence, reports and archival lists related to custody activities.Process requests for release of original facility documentation and mortgage release after obtaining approvals from the appropriate sanctioning authority.Return deficient documents to business teams for completion through courier, where required, and record reference details in the register.Maintain coordination with Legal, FRR, Relationship Managers, internal auditors and external auditors to retrieve required documents and files after obtaining necessary unit management approval.Review ABL drawdown-related collateral documents, highlight discrepancies to Business, follow up for rectification, and confirm to the transaction processing team when requirements are satisfied.Skills & Requirements:Higher Diploma or equivalent academic qualification.1 to 3 years of banking experience, including at least 1 year in credit administration functions.Fair understanding of banking operations, Bank policies, procedures, guidelines, statutory requirements, market conditions and systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and spreadsheet-based documentation or reporting.
