We value trauma-informed, family-centered, and culturally responsive service that supports long-term stability and healing.Position SummaryRelease is seeking a relational, organized, and mission-minded Part-Time Youth Mentoring Coordinator to support our mentoring program and provide youth life coaching in the community. This role supports female mentor matches, interviews referred youth, recruits mentors, helps create healthy mentor-mentee matches, and builds strong partnerships with churches, schools, and community organizations.This is a hybrid role based in Omaha. While some administrative work can be done remotely, the position includes regular onsite engagement at partner locations including Holy Name School and Uta Halee Academy, as well as community outreach, interviews, and occasional events. The person in this role will have meaningful opportunities to provide Gospel-centered encouragement, spiritual care, and practical support to youth navigating crisis, trauma, and other serious life challenges.What You'll DoIn this role, you will support, equip, and regularly communicate with female mentor matches, helping each relationship grow in a healthy and consistent way based on the needs of the individual match. You will help identify activities, fellowship opportunities, and community resources that strengthen mentor-mentee relationships and support the broader mentoring program.You will also interview youth referred by community partners and other referral sources, recruit volunteer mentors, and help create new matches. The role includes conflict resolution within matches, frequent communication with the Director of Mentoring, and collaboration around program evaluation, annual goals, and continuous improvement.Because this position is outward-facing, you will represent Release in the community through relationship-building, public speaking, and connection with local churches and partner organizations. You will help build rapport across the Omaha metro so that more youth and mentors can access Release services.Administrative follow-through is also essential. You will update and manage MentorCore documentation each month, maintain timely records after mentor communication, and respond quickly to match needs in coordination with the mentoring team. Employment will be contingent on successful completion of required background checks, motor vehicle review, and any job-related pre-employment screenings. This part-time role also requires flexibility for occasional evening work, quarterly Saturday events, and shared, as-needed phone response to urgent mentoring situations outside regular business hours.Preferred QualificationsCollege coursework or a degree in ministry, counseling, social work, psychology, education, criminal justice, or a related field is preferred. Ministry experience, volunteer coordination experience, mentoring experience, connected to the metro community and trauma-informed youth work are also strongly preferred.Candidates who already have meaningful connections in the Omaha metro through church involvement, volunteering, neighborhood leadership, or community partnerships may be especially strong fits. Holy Name's emphasis on student and family support services and Uta Halee's trauma-responsive work with young women make prior experience in collaborative community settings especially valuable.Compensation And BenefitsThis is a part-time position scheduled for 20 hours per week at $21.00 per hour. Release also offers monthly cell phone reimbursement of up to $75, mileage reimbursement for approved tracked travel, eligibility for a 403(b) retirement plan subject to plan terms, and hybrid work flexibility with accountability and time management.
