Requirements
Performing design calculations for optimization and compliance of applicable standards and codes.Efficient review of Mechanical systems design (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Drainage, Water, LPG) Ensure that purposed designs are following the latest energy efficient design criteria.Propose alternative design solutions to render the projects viable and within allocated budget.Provide technical assistance to concerned departments, liaison with Architect, Structural engineers, and site visits (whenever required) to support the project team. Specific areas of anticipated technical skills include Have a good knowledge of buildability & construction techniques.Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.Strong attention to detail, team working, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProven track record in building services design with different types of sectorsStrong software capability and proficiency in IES, HAP, Hevacomp, AutoCAD. Excellent knowledge of local and international design standards, BS-EN, CIBSE, ASHRAE, NFPA etcExcellent knowledge of local statutory authorities’ regulations and submission requirements across Middle East, mainly, UAE ,Dubai  QualificationBachelor’s in building services / Mechanical EngineeringChartered member of an internationally recognized professional body (e.g. CIBSE, ASHRAE)Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Middle East
