Eram Talent is actively seeking an experienced Cost Engineer to handle Project Management activities for the Upstream Unconventional Resources. We seek an experienced Cost Engineer to provide a complete cost engineering service to the team, demonstrating expertise in large, complex projects with a global reach. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in upstream oil and gas, midstream, LNG, refining and petrochemicals industries.ResponsibilitiesProvides all cost engineering expertise and coordinates activities as group/unit leader as required. Responsible for preparation of cost portion of the engineering, procurement and construction contracts.Collects, monitors, analyzes and reports all cost information through the Project Manager.Reviews and analyzes all claims and Change Orders on project contracts.Participates in the negotiation of project contracts as required.Initiates appropriate action when total forecast indicates allocated funds will be exceeded.Collects, monitors, analyzes and reports all cost information through the Project Manager and prepares the necessary reports to monitor cost utilization for the management, as required.Provides assistance to other Project support team on cost reviews, as necessary.Candidate shall have strong technical writing skills and willing to mentor and motivate young Saudi Engineer and Train future work colleagues in their roles and duties in the business.Be proactive and promote a culture of continuous business process improvements.Keeps abreast of significant developments in cost engineering by close review of technical literature, contacts with contractors, visits to areas of construction, and attendance at professional technical meetings.Participates in the negotiation of project contracts as required and reviews the cost portion of the engineering, procurement and construction contracts
