Requirements

Quality Control ManagementManage day-to-day QC activities across the manufacturing process.Ensure effective inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, finished , and packaging materials.Establish and maintain inspection and testing procedures according to approved specifications.Ensure compliance with customer specifications, drawings, standards, and quality requirements.Monitor critical quality parameters including:weight and dimensionsWall thickness and distributionFinish/neck dimensionsHeight, diameter, and body dimensionsVerticalityCapacity/volumeAnnealing qualityThermal shock resistanceInternal pressure resistanceImpact resistanceVisual appearance and cosmetic defects2. Defect ControlMonitor and analyze major defects such as:Checks and cracksStones/inclusionsBlistersSeedsCordsBird swingsChipped finishesDeformed containersThin wallsUneven glass distributionDimensional defectsDirty or contaminated containersSurface defectsAnalyze defect trends by machine, section, mold, cavity, shift, product, and production line.Work closely with Production, Furnace, Forming, Hot End, Cold End, and Maintenance teams to identify defect sources.Lead investigations into recurring and critical defects.3. Inspection & TestingEnsure proper implementation of incoming, in-process, and final inspection plans.Verify that measuring and testing equipment is calibrated and suitable for use.Review laboratory and inspection results and ensure timely action on abnormal results.Establish appropriate sampling plans and inspection frequencies.Ensure rejected or non-conforming products are properly identified, segregated, and controlled.4. Non-Conformance & Corrective ActionLead investigations of internal and customer quality complaints.Conduct root-cause analysis using appropriate tools such as:5 WhyFishbone/IshikawaPareto analysisSPCCAPACoordinate corrective and preventive actions with relevant departments.Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.Maintain records of non-conformities, investigations, and corrective actions.5. Quality Data & Performance MonitoringMonitor and report key QC performance indicators, including:Defect rateReject rateCustomer complaintsInternal rejectionProcess capabilityCritical defect trendsInspection compliancePrepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.Analyze trends and identify opportunities for defect reduction.Present quality performance and improvement actions to management.6. Process & Continuous ImprovementParticipate in process improvement and defect-reduction projects.Support implementation of SPC and statistical quality-control techniques.Work with Production and Process Engineering to improve process stability.Participate in new product development, trials, mold trials, and product qualification.Review quality performance during product and process changes.Promote a preventive rather than reactive approach to quality.7. Customer QualitySupport investigation and resolution of customer complaints.Provide technical quality information and corrective-action reports when required.Participate in customer audits and quality meetings.Ensure customer-specific requirements are communicated to relevant QC and production personnel.8. Team LeadershipLead, train, and develop QC engineers, inspectors, technicians, and laboratory personnel.Prepare training plans covering inspection methods, defect identification, testing procedures, and quality standards.Ensure adequate QC manpower and shift coverage.Evaluate team performance and identify development needs.Promote quality awareness and discipline throughout the manufacturing operation.9. Documentation & ComplianceEnsure QC procedures, work instructions, inspection standards, specifications, and forms are properly maintained.Maintain accurate quality records and traceability.Support internal, customer, and third-party audits.Ensure compliance with applicable quality-management-system requirements and company procedures.
