Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements MBBS or equivalent medical degree. MD / DNB / MRCP / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Pulmonology / Pulmonary Medicine / Respiratory Medicine. Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred. Strong experience in diagnosing and managing respiratory diseases. Excellent clinical judgment and patient-management skills. Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Specialist Pulmonologist to diagnose and manage patients with respiratory and pulmonary disorders. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in both acute and chronic respiratory conditions, with a patient-centered approach.Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive consultations, respiratory assessments, and clinical examinations. Diagnose and manage asthma, COPD, pneumonia, interstitial lung disease, sleep disorders, pulmonary infections, and other respiratory conditions. Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic respiratory failure. Interpret chest X-rays, CT scans, pulmonary function tests, ABG, and other diagnostic investigations. Perform and interpret spirometry and other pulmonary function tests. Manage patients with sleep-related breathing disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea. Provide appropriate treatment for pulmonary infections and other respiratory illnesses. Perform or assist with diagnostic procedures such as bronchoscopy where appropriately trained. Manage patients requiring oxygen therapy and non-invasive ventilation where applicable. Coordinate care with intensivists, cardiologists, radiologists, thoracic surgeons, and other specialists. Educate patients regarding medication use, inhaler techniques, lifestyle modifications, and disease prevention. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
