Description

Join JPMorganChase's Infrastructure Platforms organization, where your expertise in technology resiliency and risk controls will directly protect the firm's most critical production platforms. Here, you will work at the intersection of technology, risk, and business continuity — partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure our platforms remain resilient, compliant, and ready for any challenge. This is a high-visibility role where your analytical mindset and relationship-building skills will shape how we manage and mitigate risk at scale. If you are passionate about operational excellence and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you.

As a Tech Risk and Controls Lead at JPMorganChase within the Infrastructure Platforms: Core Foundational Platforms (CFP) team, you will serve as the primary point of accountability for overseeing and coordinating the operational execution of technology and business resiliency activities across CFP production applications, services, and business functions. You will build strong partnerships with Application Owners, Site Reliability Engineering teams, and business stakeholders to deliver comprehensive resiliency coverage and ensure alignment with firmwide risk and control standards. Your work will directly contribute to the firm's ability to recover critical platforms and maintain continuity in the face of operational disruption.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end execution of technology and business resiliency activities across Core Foundational Platforms, ensuring alignment with firmwide policies and risk standards
  • Coordinate and manage Technology Resiliency testing events, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication for Maximum Exposure Point of Concentration (MEPC) testing across CFP products
  • Maintain and update Business Resiliency Plans to reflect organizational, functional, and staffing changes within the CFP environment
  • Monitor resiliency non-compliance, partnering with application teams and IP Resiliency Governance to define and track remediation steps and timescales
  • Review and attest to substantiation data within the Enterprise Resiliency Management & Analytics platform for CFP applications, supporting User Acceptance Testing for technology and business releases
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Technology Lifecycle Maintenance, Tech Maintenance, and Capacity programs — managing progress toward program-level targets, reporting blockers, and driving resolution with stakeholders
  • Support Audit Request for Information (RFI) processes for horizontal, regulatory, and internal audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses
  • Provide resiliency training and education to Application Owners and the broader CFP community, ensuring technologists understand applicable risk, control, and policy requirements
  • Identify and implement continuous service improvement opportunities, facilitating meetings, publishing management reports, and driving follow-up actions across stakeholder groups
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Application Owners, Site Reliability Engineering teams, clients, and business partners to deliver integrated resiliency services

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated experience in technology risk, controls, or resiliency functions within a large-scale, complex technology environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to present to and engage senior management and executive stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain cross-functional relationships across all levels of an organization, including technology, business, and corporate functions
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to assess risk exposure, identify gaps, and drive remediation
  • Experience coordinating and managing technology testing or audit-related activities, including planning, execution, and reporting
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong understanding of Technology and Business Resiliency frameworks, with hands-on experience in resiliency planning, testing, or governance functions
  • Familiarity with IT control policies related to public cloud environments
  • Experience with data analysis tools or techniques to support resiliency reporting and compliance monitoring
