The Procurement Engineer at Nawy Real Estate is responsible for managing the procurement process of engineering materials and services required for construction projects. This role involves collaborating with various teams to define requirements, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials while maintaining quality standards.Key Responsibilities: Evaluate technical specifications and identify the appropriate materials and services needed for projects. Research potential suppliers and assess their capabilities based on quality, cost, and delivery performance. Prepare and issue requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotations (RFQs) to receive bids from suppliers. Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best possible pricing and contractual terms. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to align procurement strategies with project needs and timelines. Monitor the procurement process from order placement to delivery and resolve any issues that may arise. Maintain comprehensive records of all procurement activities and supplier performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all procurement activities. Participate in supplier performance evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the procurement function.
