The role is crucial for maintaining workflow efficiency, facilitating timely vehicle dispatch, and ensuring effective communication among the yard, suppliers, service providers, and customers. Adherence to safety and compliance standards in KSA is paramount. The role involves ensuring maximum fleet efficiency, supervising staff, controlling financial dimensions such as trip allowances and fuel consumption, and achieving high customer service levels.What You Will Do:Maximize SAP in all day to day transport planning activities to maintain system integrity and exceed customer service level expectations.Ensure maximum fleet utilization and resource control, monitor fleet availability, and assign vehicles based on priority, service requirements, or customer needs.Monitor fleet running costs and fuel consumption, identify areas requiring improvement, and develop plans to rectify shortfalls.Work in conjunction with QA Team to reduce accidents and damage across the supply chain, with emphasis on road traffic accidents involving heavy vehicles.Preparation of Trip Allowance Report, Vehicle Offload Report, Overtime Allowance Report, Car Carrier Allowance Reports, Payroll Reports, and Petty Cash Reports on a monthly basis.Carry out regular Toolbox Training with HV Drivers to maintain high standards of vehicle handling and driving.Ensure accurate and timely submission of billing statements to the Transport Manager on a monthly basis.Have a clear understanding of customer lead times and required KPIs, ensuring execution meets or exceeds expectations.Monthly customer KPIs measured based on SLA to ensure standards are met and improvements are tracked.Required Skills To Be Successful:Strong communication skills at all levels.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Organizational and planning proficiency.What Qualifies You For The Role:Degree in any discipline.Minimum 2 years experience in transport planning or warehousing.Proficient in MS Office for report generation.Experience in logical thinking, planning, and decision-making abilities.About Al-Futtaim AutomotiveA major division of the UAE-based Al-Futtaim Group of companies, Al-Futtaim Automotive is an industry leader with presence in 10 countries across the Middle East, Asia and Africa.Our core business activities at Al-Futtaim Automotive include distribution, manufacturing, leasing and aftersales, and we are firmly established as the regional representative of some of the world's most iconic automotive brands: Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, Volvo and RAM.We are driven by a customer-centric approach, constantly pushing the boundaries on innovation, quality standards, and value-added service across our vast universe of customers - right from motoring enthusiasts to fleet operators to contractors.
