Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.2–5 years of relevant experience in MRP, Material Planning, Production Planning, or Supply Chain within a manufacturing / industrial environment.Experience in engineering, machinery, CNC, metalworking, or industrial manufacturing is highly preferred.Good understanding of MRP, BOM, inventory management, lead times, safety stock, and material planning concepts.Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems; experience with Odoo is a strong advantage.Very good command of Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze large sets of planning and inventory data.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Good command of English is preferred.Work Location10th of Ramadan City, Sharqia, Egypt
Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical MRP Engineer to join our Planning team in a manufacturing environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability of raw materials, components, and production requirements in line with production plans, while maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing material shortages and excess stock.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Material Requirements Plans (MRP) based on production plans, demand, BOMs, inventory levels, lead times, and material availability.Review and analyze Bill of Materials (BOMs) to determine material and component requirements.Run and monitor MRP requirements through the company's ERP/MRP system.Monitor the availability of raw materials, components, spare parts, and production materials to ensure uninterrupted production.Follow up on Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and material deliveries.Coordinate with Procurement and suppliers regarding order status, delivery dates, delays, shortages, and supply risks.Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Engineering teams to ensure material requirements are properly planned and fulfilled.Monitor inventory levels against safety stock, minimum stock levels, and defined inventory targets.Identify potential material shortages, excess inventory, and long-lead-time items and take corrective actions.Maintain and update MRP planning parameters and master data, including lead times, minimum order quantities, safety stocks, reorder points, and material specifications.Monitor material requirements resulting from changes in production plans or engineering/BOM revisions.Identify material supply risks that may affect production schedules and customer delivery commitments.Prepare regular reports and dashboards covering material availability, shortages, inventory levels, open POs, and MRP performance.Analyze MRP and inventory data to identify opportunities for reducing shortages, excess inventory, and overall material planning costs.Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve material availability, inventory accuracy, planning efficiency, and production continuity.
