JOB SCOPE:Prepare and serve high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with lounge recipes, presentation standards, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the bar area, including equipment, glassware, tools, and beverage stock.Support revenue generation through effective upselling of premium drinks, signature cocktails, and lounge offerings while ensuring excellent guest interaction and satisfaction.Follow all SOPs, HACCP and Municipality food safety standards, POS procedures, and airport security protocols to ensure safe and compliant bar operations.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee daily bar operations to ensure efficient service, high-quality beverage preparation, and compliance with company standards.Supervise and support bartenders and bar staff, providing on-the-job coaching, guidance, and performance feedback.Ensure all beverages are prepared and served according to standard recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.Monitor bar inventory levels, oversee stock rotation, and coordinate with procurement to place orders and maintain adequate supplies.Conduct regular checks on bar equipment, glassware, and workstations to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functionality.Lead and motivate the bar team to achieve sales targets through effective upselling, product knowledge, and guest engagement.Maintain compliance with licensing laws, airport regulations (if applicable), and company policies related to alcohol service.Handle guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring service recovery when required.Train bar staff on new promotions, signature beverages, hygiene standards, and operational procedures.Oversee cash handling, billing, and POS transactions to ensure accuracy and adherence to financial controls.Implement proper stock-taking procedures and investigate discrepancies in bar consumption or wastage.Collaborate with the Kitchen and F&B teams on menu updates, special promotions, and cross-selling opportunities.Ensure the bar area remains clean, organized, and well-presented at all times, following hygiene and safety guidelines.Prepare daily or weekly bar performance reports, including sales, consumption, staff performance, and operational issues.Assist management in scheduling bar staff, planning rosters, and ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods.Support in onboarding new bar team members and maintaining high team morale and professional standards.Perform any other duties or tasks assigned by the Bar Supervisor, Lounge Supervisor, Duty Manager or F&B leadership to support smooth bar operations.JOB REQUIREMENTS:High school or Certificate in Hospitality or aboveMinimum 2 years experience in F&B operations preferably in hotel or catering industryAccountability and able to work independentlyExcellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skillsStrong spoken English skills are required; proficiency in Arabic would be an advantage.Shift duty is requiredWork location: AirportAbout the CompanyHello!
