Role overview
The successful candidate will provide consultant-level radiology and diagnostic imaging services within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment supported by experienced consultants, radiographers, technologists, allied health professionals, and modern imaging infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, and other diagnostic imaging studies according to training, expertise, and clinical scope.
Provide accurate, timely, and clinically relevant radiology reports for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency cases.
Identify and communicate urgent and critical imaging findings to the relevant clinical teams.
Support multidisciplinary clinical decision-making through imaging interpretation and specialist consultation.
Ensure appropriate imaging protocols, contrast safety, radiation protection, and patient safety standards are maintained.
Collaborate with clinicians, radiographers, imaging technologists, and interventional radiology teams where required.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, peer review, clinical audits, accreditation activities, and reporting quality improvement initiatives.
