Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field with minimum 7 years of experience in OT/IT convergence, industrial automation, IIoT, industrial data engineering, platform engineering, or systems engineering. Must have strong experience with industrial protocols, OT/IT networking, industrial data pipelines, containerized deployments, and programming languages like Python. Experience with edge platforms, Historians, and UNS architectures is preferred.
Description

The Senior OT/IT Data Specialist will support the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the Smart Factory Data Backbone platform. This role bridges industrial automation, OT/IT networking, industrial data engineering, and modern software platforms. The successful candidate will support integration of shop-floor equipment and OT systems with edge, enterprise IT, and cloud services while ensuring industrial data is secure, reliable, well-governed, and fit for downstream applications. 

This is a senior, hands-on technical role that combines architecture support, technical delivery, platform troubleshooting, vendor coordination, stakeholder collaboration, data governance, and operational support across manufacturing locations. The role will work closely with architects, engineers, lifecycle teams, system integrators, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable smart factory solutions and support future digital manufacturing initiatives.
