About This RoleAbout this roleBlackRock's Financial Markets Advisory (FMA) team provides strategic advice and execution to clients across capital markets, portfolio management, and transaction advisory themes. Our clients include official sector and financial institution clients globally, including sovereign wealth funds, asset owners, central banks, banks, and insurance companies.We support our clients on their most critical and complex financial issues – including enhancing their connectivity with capital markets, structuring real assets investment strategies and funds, optimizing asset allocations and investment portfolios, and designing innovative financing solutions to support clients economic and developmental goals.Unique among advisory firms, we employ BlackRock's sophisticated capital markets, data & analytics and technology capabilities, to provide high-impact and actionable advisory services.Since our founding, we have completed assignments for 300+ clients in 40 countries. Our professionals work in multiple regions – with offices in New York, London, Paris, Milan, Frankfurt, Budapest, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Mumbai, Gurgaon and Hong Kong. This global footprint allows us to serve clients in all locations and respond to their needs as they arise.We are looking to recruit professionals at Associate- and Vice President-level to join the team in our Kuwait office.In This Role You Will Partner WithExternally: you will engage with and advise private and public sector financial institutions, asset owners, and governments Internally: you will leverage BlackRock's unparalleled capabilities across Capital Markets, Aladdin, Portfolio Advisory and Research functions Key ResponsibilitiesLead project activities, independently or with support of junior team members Lead engagement design and planning, defining deliverables and content, and developing timelines Lead or support day-to-day interactions with clients, including executive-level stakeholders Develop subject matter expertise across capital markets and real assets topics, and provide client-specific actionable advice Advise clients on their infrastructure and real estate assets investment strategies, including project preparation approach, applying best-in-class investment practices, financial modelling, and transaction management Support clients on capital markets and investment strategy topics, including strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction and other portfolio advisory themes emerging from client engagements Conduct or oversee research and quantitative analysis, resulting in high-quality reports and presentations that inform strategic decision-making Uphold BlackRock's fiduciary culture and commitment to excellence Work collaboratively in large, multi-disciplinary project teams Actively contribute to business development, working alongside senior team leaders to conceive, develop, and market innovative solutions for new and existing clients Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on project work Key Skills And QualificationsMinimum of 3-7 years of strong experience in financial markets, investment banking, infrastructure / real estate investing, or top-tier management consulting Self-determined drive to obtain superior results for clients Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and ability to learn new content quickly Strong verbal and written communication, including the ability to synthesise complex ideas into clear messages Superior organizational skills with the ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment Genuine passion for the financial markets PreferredExpertise in areas such as investment banking, transaction structuring, infrastructure and real estate investments, asset-based finance, and financial modelling Good understanding of infrastructure and real estate transactions, including project design, review of feasibility studies, investor landscape, and transaction management Fluency in Arabic Your Learning & Development Will IncludeGain and deepen subject matter expertise in capital markets, private markets, infrastructure, facing innovative and complex challenges and evolving market trends Build project management and leadership skills through hand-on execution Strengthen client management and commercial skills through business development exposure during client meetings and project execution Our BenefitsTo help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of employee benefits including: retirement investment and tools designed to help you in building a sound financial future; access to education reimbursement; comprehensive resources to support your physical health and emotional well-being; family support programs; and Flexible Time Off (FTO) so you can relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about.Our hybrid work modelBlackRock's hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all.
