Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.7–10 years of HSE experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably within a multinational FMCG or manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of Egyptian HSE regulations and international HSE standards.Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) systems.Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH, or equivalent are highly preferred.Experience leading HSE audits, incident investigations, and emergency response programs.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE reporting systems.
Description
Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management system.Ensure compliance with local legislation, corporate HSE standards, and international best practices.Lead risk assessments, hazard identification, and the implementation of effective control measures.Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety observations to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.Develop and deliver HSE training programs to enhance employee awareness and competency.Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, emissions, energy conservation, and sustainability initiatives.Prepare and submit HSE reports, KPIs, and regulatory documentation.Lead emergency preparedness, crisis management, and business continuity planning.Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and HR to embed HSE into all operational activities.Manage HSE audits and coordinate with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders.Promote a proactive safety culture through employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.
