We are looking for creative Graphic Designers to join the AUS Scuba Diving Community on a voluntary internship basis. This is not a full-time position and is open to all experience levels. We welcome students, emerging designers, and creatives who have graphic design skills, strong visual ideas, and an interest in building their portfolios through meaningful work. Experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Figma, or equivalent design platforms is an advantage.

Company DescriptionThe American University of Sharjah Scuba Diving Community is a student-led initiative working to make scuba diving more accessible to the AUS community while building greater awareness around ocean exploration, marine conservation, and responsible diving.Operating under the AUS Athletics and Recreation Department and in collaboration with the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, the community connects students with professional scuba diving certification opportunities, diving experiences, and marine-focused initiatives.As one of the first projects of its kind within a university community in the UAE, our vision extends beyond diving. We aim to build a platform where young people can experience the ocean, understand its importance, and become active advocates for its protection.Our team brings together students and creative contributors who want to use their skills to support ocean advocacy and contribute to a growing UAE-based community centered around the marine environment.Role Description — Graphic DesignerWe are looking for creative Graphic Designers to join the AUS Scuba Diving Community on a voluntary internship basis.This is not a full-time position and is open to all experience levels. We welcome students, emerging designers, and creatives who have graphic design skills, strong visual ideas, and an interest in building their portfolios through meaningful work.As part of the creative team, you will help shape how our community communicates its identity, activities, and ocean advocacy work.You may contribute to:* Designing social media posts, stories, campaigns, and digital content* Creating event posters, announcements, flyers, and promotional materials* Developing creative content around scuba diving, marine life, sustainability, and ocean conservation* Supporting and developing the community's visual identity* Creating templates and visual assets for future campaigns and events* Working alongside the team on awareness initiatives and special projects* Contributing creative ideas for campaigns that encourage young people to connect with and protect the ocean- Who We're Looking ForWe are looking for people with creativity, initiative, and an eye for strong visual communication.Previous professional experience is not required.
