Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Consultant Clinical Psychologist with oncology experience to provide specialized psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based interventions for patients, particularly those undergoing cancer diagnosis and treatment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychological assessments and clinical evaluations.Provide individual and family psychological counselling and psychotherapy.Support oncology patients throughout diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and survivorship.Assess and manage anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, trauma, and treatment-related psychological distress.Provide psychological support for patients and families coping with chronic or life-threatening illness.Collaborate closely with oncologists, physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.Develop individualized treatment and psychological care plans.Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation.Provide crisis intervention and appropriate referrals when required.Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to patient-centered care.RequirementsMaster's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a relevant discipline.Valid professional license/eligibility to practice in Dubai/UAE (DHA).Proven clinical experience as a Clinical Psychologist.Previous oncology/psycho-oncology experience is required or highly preferred.Strong knowledge of evidence-based psychological assessment and therapeutic approaches.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.Preferred ExpertisePsycho-oncology, cancer-related psychological distress, grief and bereavement, anxiety and depression, adjustment disorders, family counselling, and supportive psychotherapy.
