We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented grafter technician to join our client's agricultural team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. If you have hands-on experience in plant grafting and nursery operations and are passionate about horticulture, we'd love to hear from you!
Key responsibilities
Perform various plant grafting techniques, including budding, cleft grafting, veneer grafting, and whip-and-tongue grafting.
Select healthy rootstocks and scions to ensure successful graft unions.
Prepare, graft, wrap, and label plants according to nursery standards.
Monitor grafted plants for healing, growth, and overall health.
Perform pruning, watering, fertilizing, and general plant maintenance.
Identify and report pests, diseases, or other plant health concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery and work area.
Record grafting activities and monitor graft success rates.
Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures.
Requirements
