Capital is sourced from a variety of sources including private equity funds, sovereign wealth funds, alternative & credit investors, pension funds, insurance companies, family offices, and other institutional investors. You will get exposure to all sectors and markets across APAC, and engage in transactions across the capital structure from common equity transactions to more structured deals including convertibles and preference shares. You will be a key player in the execution of the firm's ECM business. Joining here means you’ll become part of our teams and its inclusive culture, unified by the firm’s mission and commitment to success.

Job responsibilities:

  • Work directly with issuer clients in tandem with industry / country teams to develop a deep understanding of their company business models, financial metrics, management teams, and projected future performance

  • Support in the preparation of transaction marketing and process materials

  • Given the team’s high deal flow and its flat hierarchical structure, you will perform a great variety of tasks, including many opportunities to “step-up”
  • You will experience training, hands-on learning opportunities, continuous mentoring and feedback, and numerous development opportunities
  • You will develop strong functional skills in the major areas of investment banking with the aim to become a senior client executive who is capable of generating and executing your own transactions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of full time investment banking or buyside experience
  • Keen interest in private capital markets, minority equity and structured transactions. Interest in how minority transactions work including shareholder and governance agreements

  • Ability to take ownership across a transaction, with exposure to industry, country, and other internal and external partners
  • Ability to show initiative and support across several transactions in parallel, managing time appropriately across competing demands
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
