This is a client secondment role supporting one of our major energy sector clients, with an assignment duration of three years. The Senior Corrosion Engineer will support the delivery of corrosion and materials engineering activities as part of a broader asset integrity management programme for a major operating client in the UAE. The role will be responsible for undertaking corrosion assessments, supporting integrity studies, developing technical deliverables and providing engineering expertise to multidisciplinary teams involved in the operation and maintenance of oil and gas facilities. The successful candidate will be embedded within the client's organisation and will contribute to the ongoing integrity, reliability and performance of critical production assets. Support development of corrosion management strategies and corrosion monitoring programmes. Participate in Corrosion Risk Assessment Studies (CRAS). Support Integrity Operating Window (IOW) development and implementation activities. Review material selection, corrosion risks and integrity threats associated with process facilities and pipelines. Develop technical reports, engineering recommendations and integrity management deliverables. Contribute to Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) assessments and methodology reviews. Support Fitness-for-Service (FFS), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and asset life extension studies. Participate in site visits, integrity reviews, technical workshops and stakeholder meetings. Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective implementation of integrity recommendations. Ensure compliance with client requirements, applicable codes, standards and best practices. Experience supporting Corrosion Risk Assessment Studies (CRAS), Integrity Operating Window (IOW) development and asset integrity management programmes. Practical knowledge of corrosion monitoring, material selection and degradation mechanisms. Experience supporting RBI, FFS and asset life extension studies. Familiarity with API, ASME, ISO, DNV and AMPP/NACE standards. Ability to prepare engineering reports, assessments and technical recommendations. Experience working with operating assets and brownfield facilities. Previous experience supporting National Oil Companies (NOCs), major international operators or operating assets within the Middle East preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
