Requires 2-3 years of experience in material planning, preferably in the FMCG industry. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, have strong written and spoken English skills, and possess excellent communication and analytical abilities. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.

Role ObjectivesThe Material Planner is responsible for overseeing raw material and packaging supply planning, ensuring cost-effective ordering and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Collaborate with production planners to meet material requirements, monitor supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement in inventory optimization.Roles & Responsibilities:Plan raw material and corresponding packaging supplyEnsure that raw materials are ordered in the most cost-effective way and that Raw Material stocks are kept at the targeted service & inventory levelsMonitor supplier performance for key raw materials and packCreate a monthly MRP plan based on production needs and available inventoriesExpedite and postpone raw and package materials to support and maintain a flexible production schedule while communicating with business units and support departmentsMonitor raw and package inventory to achieve continuous improvement in inventory optimizationWork closely with the production planners to get the material requirements and issue the planned ordersEscalate to Procurement any material issue that may become a potential riskSecure needed materials for any new trials or new initiativesMonitor the R&PM planning KPIs and update ending stock reportsREQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS2 - 3 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG industryProficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP systems is a plusStrong proficiency in written and spoken EnglishExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities
