SAP Process Integration/ Process Orchestration (PI/PO) & Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) Job Description Experience: 10+ Years Role: Senior SAP PI/PO & CPI Integration Consultant Primary Skills: SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI / Integration Suite We are looking for an experienced SAP PI/PO & CPI Consultant with 8+ years of SAP integration experience and strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise integrations. The candidate should independently manage integration requirements through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support across SAP and non-SAP applications. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, configure, and support integrations using SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI / Integration Suite. • Develop A2A, B2B, cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premises integrations. • Build and maintain interfaces using IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP/FTP, HTTP/HTTPS, JDBC and File adapters. • Develop synchronous and asynchronous integration scenarios, including error-handling and retry mechanisms. • Configure Integration Flows (iFlows) in SAP CPI, including routing, transformations, content modifiers and exception handling. • Develop message mappings using Graphical Mapping, XSLT, Java Mapping and Groovy Scripts. • Work with XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL and API-based integrations. • Configure and manage API authentication and security, including OAuth 2.0, Basic Authentication, certificates and keys. • Integrate SAP S/4HANA/ECC with SAP cloud applications and external/third-party systems. • Work with functional and application teams to understand business requirements and define integration/interface specifications. • Perform interface monitoring, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and performance optimization. • Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live and post-production activities. • Manage transport and deployments across Development, Quality and Production environments. • Prepare interface design documents, technical specifications, test scripts and operational/support documentation. • Coordinate with SAP functional, ABAP, Basis/Security, network and third-party teams for end-to-end integration delivery. Mandatory Skills • 10+ years of overall SAP integration experience. • Strong hands-on experience in SAP PI/PO, including ESR and Integration Directory. • Strong hands-on experience with SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite. Uncontrolled when printed. • Experience developing and supporting iFlows. • Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, SFTP, HTTP and JDBC integrations. • Hands-on experience with XML, JSON, XSLT, XSD and WSDL. • Experience with Groovy scripting in SAP CPI. • Strong knowledge of message mapping, routing and transformation techniques. • Good understanding of API security, certificates, OAuth and authentication mechanisms. • Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA/ECC with SAP and third-party applications. • Strong experience in interface monitoring, error handling and production troubleshooting. • Experience across the complete lifecycle: Requirement - Design - Development - SIT/UAT - Deployment - Support. • At least 2 end-to-end SAP integration implementation/rollout projects. • Hands-on experience delivering integrations involving SAP and multiple third-party systems. • Experience in PI/PO to CPI migration or hybrid PI/PO–CPI landscapes is preferred. • Strong production-support experience, including troubleshooting business-critical interfaces. Preferred Skills • Experience with SAP Integration Suite – API Management. • Knowledge of SAP BTP and Cloud Connector. • Experience with Event Mesh and event-driven integrations. • Exposure to EDI/B2B and Peppol/e-Invoicing integrations. • Experience migrating interfaces from SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite/CPI. • Understanding of CI/CD and automated deployment for integration artifacts. • SAP Integration Suite / CPI certification is preferred. Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Finance, or related discipline.
