Perform detailed fetal assessments including anomaly scans, fetal echocardiography, Doppler studies, and genetic testing. Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, obstetricians, neonatologists, and other subspecialists to develop individualized management plans. Perform prenatal interventions such as fetal blood sampling, intrauterine transfusions, fetal shunt placement, and other indicated procedures. Provide clear, compassionate counselling to patients and families regarding fetal diagnoses, prognosis, and treatment options. Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation and ensure effective communication with patients and multidisciplinary teams. Stay current with advancements in fetal medicine and contribute to departmental research, publications, and academic activities. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance, and departmental meetings. Support training and mentorship of junior doctors, sonographers, and allied health staff.
