Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience supervising accounting team members.

The Group operates through multiple business units and subsidiaries, delivering integrated solutions supported by strong operational expertise and a well-established regional presence.Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant with strong Real Estate / Property Accounting expertise and hands-on experience with Yardi to lead accounting operations and financial reporting across our real estate portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day accounting operations for real estate properties and corporate entities.Manage and review GL, AP, AR, journal entries, accruals, payments, receipts, and reconciliations.Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.Prepare and review property-level and consolidated financial statements and management reports.Manage property and tenant accounting, including rental income, service charges, deposits, receivables, and operating expenses.Review tenant ledgers, aged receivables, and outstanding balances.Monitor intercompany and related-party transactions.Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow projections, and variance analysis.Coordinate with external auditors and support audit and statutory requirements.Ensure appropriate accounting treatment for property acquisitions, disposals, CAPEX, depreciation, and property investments.Maintain effective accounting controls and procedures.Supervise, review, and mentor accounting team members.Yardi ResponsibilitiesManage and review property-level accounting and financial transactions in Yardi.Ensure accurate coding of transactions by property, unit, department, and account.Perform Yardi bank, tenant, vendor, and GL reconciliations.Generate and review property financial statements and management reports.Support lease, tenant, AP, AR, and property accounting processes.Assist with Yardi month-end closing and resolve accounting discrepancies.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5–8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in Real Estate, Property Management, or Investment companies.Mandatory hands-on experience with Yardi accounting systems.Strong knowledge of real estate and property accounting.Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles.Proven experience in month-end/year-end closing and audit coordination.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and financial reporting.Experience supervising or reviewing accounting team members.Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.UAE/GCC accounting experience is an advantage.ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
