· Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.· Implement all occupational health and safety (OHS) procedures and requirements.· Ensure that the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is available, suitable, and used in accordance with safety instructions, while maintaining continuous availability at all work locations.· Inspect work areas to identify potential hazards and accident risks.· Conduct regular supervision to ensure the safety of employees at the worksite.· Suspend or cancel work permits upon completion of the work or whenever conditions no longer comply with the safety requirements specified in the work permit.· Conduct risk assessments, implement appropriate control measures to minimize risks, and communicate the actions taken.· Monitor the proper disposal of industrial liquid and solid waste in accordance with applicable procedures.· Provide on-the-job safety training to employees and communicate any new or updated safety instructions.· Ensure periodic inspection and readiness of emergency equipment at the workplace, including fire extinguishers, emergency exits, spill control equipment, and other emergency response resources.· Perform any other job-related duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
